    The Communication and Cinema Department at McDaniel College invites applications for a Visiting Professor (M.F.A. or Ph.D.) beginning Fall 2024. Applicants should be willing to take a broad approach to the study of Cinema within the Liberal Arts context. We seek applicants committed to undergraduate teaching that balances theory and practice, including studio and location production, with a specialty in Classical Hollywood Cinema. The teaching responsibilities will include Introduction to Cinema, upper-level Film Analysis courses, Scriptwriting, Basic Video Editing, Narrative Film Production, as well as the major's capstone course and first-year seminars.
